The news that has been going around recently is the monthly Unlimited data plans introduced by Airtel even though the plan came with confusion because it has three packages with different prices.
Unlimited 10 for N10,000 for 30 days.
Unlimited 15 for N15,000 for 30 days.
Unlimited 20 for N20,000 for 30 days.
The question is
If the data plan is unlimited, why is it in three packages with different prices?

Not quite long, Airtel revealed the secret behind the differences in the prices of the unlimited data plan. According to Airtel customer support, the data plan is not unlimited, it is data capped. The data cap are as follow
1. Unlimited 10 plan -100GB
N10,000 valid for 30 days
Dial *471# to activate

2.Unlimited 15 plan -125GB
N15,000 valid for 30 days
Dial *463# to activate

3. Unlimited 20 for160GB.
N20,000 valid for 30 days
Dial *351# to activate

I think the data plans are moderately okay compared to other network that are giving lesser Gb for the same price, though Airtel called it unlimited but it is not.
