HOW TO GENERATE VALID IMEI ON
YOUR PHONE
A valid IMEI consists of 15 digits. The last digit is very crucial and you can only get it by using IMEI Analyser which you can download from play store Or follow the below steps to Analyse you IMEI
1- Click Here and enter the 14 digits imei number (E.g.
35497815324864) in the box.
2- Then click on CHECK IMEI or CALCULATE and the 15th number will be shown to you. After that, copy it and paste it into your MTN Engineering Mode application
NOTE: If you are given a 9 digits IMEI(e.g 358465484) which you are to tweak to be entitled to certain MB, you wil add any 5 digits to it to make it 14 e.g 35846548404678, and put the 14 digits in the IMEI analyser to get the 15th digit.
HOW TO TWEAK THE IMEI YOU GENERATED
1- Download MTK Engineering
Mode from Google play store
2- Open the MTK Engineering
Mode on your phone.
3- Select MTK Settings.
4- Swipe your phone left to CONNECTIVITY.
5- On the connectivity panel, select CDS
Information.
6- Select Radio Information.
7- Now, select either the SIM1 or SIM2,
depending on whichever SIM you wish to change its IMEI.
8- On this page, click on theAT ,then write any letter and delete what you wrote. About four (4) options should be presented to you, just choose either of this options below:
AT EGMR=1,10,'''' -for SIM 2
AT EGMR=1,7,'''' -for SIM 1
9- Put the 15 digits IMEI you generated in-between this signs '''' above.
10- Now,click the SEND AT COMMAND
You are done…
Now you can reboot the phone or switched on airplane mode for 20secs.
Dial *#06# and you wil see the new IMEI you changed.
