HOW TO TWEAK YOUR ANDROID'S IMEI WITHOUT USING ANY APPLICATION
This tutorial is for those who are unable to use MTK application in changing their android's IMEI. With the the below tutorial ,You can change the IMEI of your android phone without using and application. I used Lenovo A316I to confirm this tutorial
The tutorial goes thus
1. Dial *#*#3646633#*#* and it will take you to engineer mode
2. Swipe your phone to the left. You will see CONNECTIVITY on top. Look for CDS INFORMATION and click on it
3. Click on RADIO INFORMATION.
If you want to change SIM 1 IMEI, choose PHONE 1, but if it is SIM 2 you want to change, choose PHONE 2.
4.On this page, click on the AT ,then write any letter and delete what you wrote. About four (4) options should be presented to you, just choose either of this options below
AT EGMR=1,7,'''' -for PHONE 1
AT EGMR=1,10,'''' -for PHONE 2
5. Put the IMEI you want to tweak in between these signs '''' (e.g ''358470060526418'')
6. Now click the SEND AT COMMAND. You will see a pop up saying AT COMMMAND IS MSENT.
( but it says THE COMMAND IS NOT ALLOWED, just create a space between AT EGMR=1,7(e.g
AT EGMR=1,7)
Yes it all done…
Now you can reboot the phone or switched on airplane mode for 20secs and switched it off
Dial *#06# and you wil see the new IMEI you changed.
If you are using ITEL and the above tutorial didn't work for you. Follow these steps
1. Dial *#*#83781#*#* and it will display a page showing ENGINEER MODE
2. Scroll Down and Select “ SET
IMEI“. It will display the two IMEI of the phone
3. Put the imei you want and then, Click “ Set IMEI“.
4. Confirmation message will
pop-up, Click OK and Reboot the
Phone. once the phone is rebooted,
your iTEL android device IMEI
should now be changed.
To confirm that the IMEI has been
successfully changed, simply dial
*#06# .
